The firm was originally established in the 1980’s as Blakes Bester.

In 1993 the firm became known as Blakes Incorporated when it was registered as an incorporated company.
In 1994 “Blakes Maphanga” found its name through the amalgamation of Blakes Incorporated and Lambani Maphanga Incorporated. Blakes Maphanga, has remained on a well established growth path in the commercial hub of the golden province of Gauteng.

25 years later, Blakes Maphanga still has a highly motivated, dedicated and dynamic team of attorneys who have a proven ability to deliver excellent results. Four directors, a number of associates and qualified attorneys being at the helm of management of a law firm which has set itself objectives to provide expert legal advice to both individuals and corporates.
